1. Always wash your face with mild soap so that the pores breathe fresh air. For a clear and attractive skin mix besan, turmeric (haldi), lemon and milk together. Make a paste. Apply it on the face. Let it dry. Wash with clean water. Wipe your face with a soft towel and pat it dry.
2. Rub a rind of lemon over your face if you have an oily skin and this will lessen grease and whiten your complexion.
3. To give velvet smoothness to your skin, just throw in a little starch to the water of our bath.
4. To avoid blemishes, drink first thing every morning a glass of carrot juice.
5. An effective treatment to clear complexions is the mixture of besan with cucumber juice rubbed over the face, neck & arms.
6. Tomatoes cut in half and rubbed over the face are useful for toning up & whitening the skin.

2 tbsp of turmeric powder
Powder the above and store it in a container. Use a little of this powder mixed with milk cream and wash the face daily with this instead of soap.

ReplyDeleteThere is no magical way to get flawless skin, even the people you see in movies and ads have been airbrushed many times for perfection. The best thing you can do for healthy skin is eating a good diet, lots of fruits and veggies, and drinking lots of water. Put moisturizer (kind of like lotion for your face) on your acne. Don't go to tanning salons - you may look ok now, but later that tan will give you sun spots, wrinkles, cancer, and gross marks on your face. You can ask your doctor or go to a skin specialist (called a dermatologist) for a special medication that won't dry out your face, maybe something stronger than what you have been using. Wash your face 1-2 times a day, don't use too much face makeup, and when you do look for products with "non-cogmengenic" labels which won't clog your pores. Resist touching or picking whatever acne you have, and make it a habit to not touch your face at all. Not only will it help with clearing up your skin, but it will help with not spreading diseases and sicknesses.

Tips for healthy wrinkle free skin.
Nature has provided us with many natural foods which are good for various ailments of the body. I have selected the following foods which are extremely useful for a youthful well maintained skin. The skin should stay wrinkle free , without blemishes or acne , taut and full of vigor. To maintain and encourage your skin to stay youthful , the following foods are useful.
1. They are normal everyday foods and you will be surprised how much they can benefit your skin.
Oranges contain vitamin C which is most essential to protect your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays . This Vitamin helps in preventing wrinkles by producing collagen in the skin.
eat one whole fruit ( not just juice) everyday, regularly for beneficial effects.
Sunflower seeds contain essential fatty acids which help skin secrete natural oils that lubricate it and prevent water loss. This helps keep skin soft and supple, improve hair texture and reduce blackhead formation .
Take three teaspoons twice a week or use sunflower oil to cook your food in.Papayas are a low calorie fruit filled with the goodness of carotenoids releasing vitamin A. They have an anti oxidant effect and help in maintaining younger looking skin. One bowl ( apx. 200- 250 grams ) of fruit a day is enough.
Whole Grains are a source of Vitamins of the B group. They help in replacing dead cells in the skin and in fighting skin infections. Niacin in whole grain helps skin cells to absorb nutrients and release energy. I
n order to increase intake, simply replace your normal white breads with whole grain bread , biscuits and pasta with whole grain products.
Green Tea is loaded with flavonoids and antioxidants. They prevent skin from UV rays and free radical chemicals in the atmosphere, prevent wrinkle formation and remove blemishes from the skin. Take Green tea without milk boiled in hot water twice a day to enjoy the beneficial effects.
Pulses are a rich source of proteins that help skin glow. They contain biotin which also helps in controlling hair loss.
Simply cook well in boiling water to release nutrients and enjoy a protein rich meal.
Aloe Vera is considered a miracle plant with multifarious positive effects on the human body. The juice of this plant is very beneficial for patchy irritated skin, helps prevent acne and skin pigmentation. Simply take 30-40 ml of juice daily for better skin.
However do not extract juice from raw pulp but take the juice available at chemists in pre-packaged form. Raw pulp if ingested without processing can contain some harmful ingredients which can cause stomach upsets and more. Go ahead and incorporate the above foods in your diet and experience smooth, wrinkle free skin.
You may note that simply taking minerals and vitamins in pills will not help the skin. It is the hidden nutrients in the fruits that are a must haveWrinkles
Just washing your face is not enough. You're ********* your face of natural oils and that causes your skin to produce more. Evil, I know. After washing your face, soak a cotton ball in toner (L'Oreal has a good, cheap one) and use over your entire face. After that dries, use an oil free moisturizer all over. In the morning, use an astringent instead of a cleanser. You'll have results in a couple days. I swear it.
ReplyDeleteuse olive oil and almond oil removes spots and
ReplyDeletefreckles
Exfoliate your face twice a week to get rid of dead skin and roughness on your face :]
ReplyDeleteuse a different toner maybe it's making you break out. I recommend this toner. It's all-natural and super cheap :]. It works really well. It could clear those zits really fast.
You get a small container and fill it about a third way with apple cider vinegar. Then fill the rest with green tea. You can use water instead of green tea, but green tea is the best. It will work way faster and way better than water. I use this as my toner and whenever I break out, the toner gets rid of it fast.
using plain honey works. Just put some raw honey, or unpasteurized honey and leave it on your face for at least 10 minutes, then rinse of & pat dry. I think the aloe will help. I've used it before and it helped a little
ReplyDeletePossibly the most effective way of rejuvenating your skin is through a doctor/dermatologist administered chemical peel. They use the bleaching product such as hydroquinone but with greater strength thus providing better results more quickly than would be the case with a whitening cream.
ReplyDeleteDuring the onset of acne, applying ice to your face will keep blemishes from popping up.
ReplyDelete"A diet complete with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and lean proteins is needed to keep the skin and the rest of the body looking and feeling great."
ReplyDeleteFor a scrub: use sugar and honey.
ReplyDeleteMix together but before you apply it to your face open your pores by putting a cloth under more hot than cold water and put it on your face. Then rub it on your face for about 3 min going in circles.
Then mix together honey,1 egg yolk, olive oil or vitamin E drops (about 2 drops) stir together, rub on your face and leave for about 15 min and wash off and pat dry. This will help it with the dry look and will give a nice glow.
Change your diet. Seafood, cheese, potatoes, fried items, excess salt, sugar and food that contains high doses of iodine are believed to precipitate acne. Excess iodine is excreted through oil glands. When that happens, it clogs the pores and brings on an acne flare-up.
ReplyDeleteUnsuitable make-up is another perpetrator of clogged pores. The pigments used in foundations, rouges and moisturisers are more often than not oil - or cream-based, and using them on acne-prone skin is invitation for disaster. The skin is a crucial organ for the body to expel metabolic wastes. Every time we sweat, our bodies excrete salts, water and other metabolic by-products. The skin needs to breathe just like the rest of us, and it is important to keep it free from make-up for at least eight to 10 hours a day (particularly when you sleep) so that the waste matter can be excreted, and the skin gets the opportunity to regenerate itself.
The healthy glow that comes from an internal cleansing of the system from a month ,cannot be acquired in a day no matter how rich the cream you use. The glow on your skin after a facial is temporary and does not often last more than a day or two.
ReplyDeletePineapple contains enzymes that make skin elastic, improve skin hydration, and remove damaged and dead cells. Thus, it helps us achieve a clear and glowing complexion. The enzymes in pineapples also fight free-radical damage and can reduce age spots and fine lines
ReplyDeleteYou are so wise. Love this post.
ReplyDeleteMakeup is a great way to enhance natural features. A well-groomed face is free of blemishes, whether because of a proper skincare regimen or because of a proper concealer application. Makeup can hide skin or age-related problems easily. Products such as blush add a glow to the face. A useful makeup finishing tip is to apply face powder all over as it sets the makeup and rids the skin of shine and oils, creating a beautiful matte look.
ReplyDeleterubbing your skin with tomato juice n washing it off after 20 min s very good..keeps skin smooth and healthy
ReplyDeletetake 1 cup fresh pineapple,Half-a-cup fresh papaya,1 tablespoon honey.Puree fruit together. Add honey and mix into a smooth paste.
ReplyDeletePineapple and papaya contain natural enzymes and alpha-hydroxy acids that remove dead skin cells. Leave mask on 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse completely.

Healthy skin is one of the most important elements of self-esteem. It requires care and attention to maintain a healthy glow and to remain soft and supple. Because our faces are most visible and are most exposed to the elements year-round, they require even more special consideration.. Mix 1 tsp of milk powder, 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of lemon juice, and ½ tsp of almond oil. Apply on face and wash off after 10-15 minutes. This pack helps bring shine to the skin and also removes tan.
ReplyDeleteWash your face with sour milk. Lactic acid promotes gentle peeling of skin minus the irritation or dryness.
ReplyDeleteHeat honey slightly and apply to face, tap face gently with your fingers. Wash honey off with warm water then rinse with cool water. Stir in a little quantity of wheat germ into the honey before applying.
Diet can play a major role in imparting glow and freshness to your skin, some of the tips that can help are: Drink 12 to14 glasses of water everyday. Avoid eating to much of fried foods like vadas, samosa, chips, bhajias, etc. Stick to fresh vegetable salads or fruit salads.
ReplyDeleteDepending on the seasonal availability, eat all types of fresh, green vegetables and all types of fresh, juicy fruits (except for strawberries and mangoes; they are heaty and overconsumption can lead to acne). Avoid consuming too much of heaty food like chillies, garlic, non-vegetarian items or dried fruits like dates.
Detoxify once a month by consuming fresh vegetables, fruits and liquids all day.
I have so many blemishes its crazy. I hate them. they make me look ugly. I just started using aveeno products. let's see how that goes.
ReplyDeleteI have blemishes on my cheeks and forehead. my skin is very dry. Could you please tell me the solution for that?
ReplyDeleteEveryone use benzoyl peroxide for blemishes! It works!
ReplyDeleteThe first step to having great looking blemish free skin is to keep it clean.Washing with a facial cleanser in the morning and night will keep your skin clean.Once your face is properly cleaned and moisturized both in the mornings and at night it will on it's way to healing and recovery. Makeup may slow that process down.Medications can be used for speeding up the healing process too. Zinc oxide works well, as do all over the counter acne medications which most often contain benzyl peroxide.
ReplyDeleteFenugreek leaves also has anti ageing properties. Make a paste of fenugreek leaves and add boiled milk to it. Applying this to your face delays the appearance of fine lines and face wrinkles. It not only improves the complexion but also makes one look years younger.
ReplyDelete. Always remove your make up, before you go to bed. 2. Cleanse your face with a good cleanser or you can cleanse with milk which is a good cleanser. Dip a piece of cotton in cold milk and wipe off the dirt from the face. 3. Steam your face twice or thrice which will open up the pores and help you clean better. 4. After cleansing, use a mild moisturizer with aloe Vera gel which will give your face a young look.
ReplyDelete5. Before going out of the house, always use a sunscreen lotion so as to avoid sun burns or tans.1. Lime juice is very helpful and is a good astringent and an excellent bleach. 2. Any cosmetics will not give you any immediate results. You have to wait for a fortnight atleast to get good results. Within this period itself, if you come to see any blemishes or burns or irritation, you can discontinue its application immediately. 3. Instead of mixing lime juice with yogurt, you can apply just the lime juice on your face as that alone is a good bleaching agent. Though you may feel a little irritation in the beginning, it is good to use it separately for more good results. 4. Once it becomes dry, you can splash your face with cold water and apply a good moisturizer to retain the moisture.
use a natural moisturizer. These moisturizers can protect and hydrate your skin. How do you prepare a nourishing mask at home? Blend white cosmetic clay with mashed banana and apply on your face. Wash after a few minutes.Makeup is one thing that can really dull down the skin''s natural radiance
ReplyDeleteIf you stay out the sun a bit more, it should fade after time, but what you can do as a natural remedy is to use lemon juice (natural is best).
ReplyDeleteBecause lemons are so acidic, it's important to dilute it with water to about a 1/2 lemon, 1/2 water, or even 2 part water and 1 part lemon.
I would start out with 2 part water and 1 part lemon because you want to get your skin used to it first, or it might become really irritated.
I would start to use this every second or third day and after you wash your face in the morning, just splash a bit of this on, you could use a cotton wool ball, but I find that If you use it as kind of a rinse, it prevents your skin getting blotchy and uneven.
If your skin stings when you put this on, water it down some more, or stop using it altogether.
I'm not sure how long exactly this will take to see a huge difference, but I have used this before but my skin was already sort of light, it just lightened it a little more. Lemons do have bleaching/lightening properties in them, but the change could be gradual, just be patient with it.
This is just from personal experience, just putting it out there, I have no idea if it will work for you.
Something else you could do is use an exfoliant 2 to 3 times a week to remove dead skin cells and make way for the newer skin cells.
For glowing skin use 1 proportion of coconut water and 1 proportion of thick paste of pineapple juice and apply on face . Wash with water after 10-15 minutes

Apply on your face and leave it for about 25 minutes. Wash your face with lukewarm water and see that you're skin has tightened a bit.
ReplyDeleteWhile almond is one of the best skin whitening agents, honey is a skin softener which is often used as an emollient and humectant, in numerous skin care products. Use ½ tablespoon of almond powder, along with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 tsp of lemon for the mixture. Leave the pack on for 15 minutes, after which, rinse it off with water. This facial pack is a great way to remove a tan and obtain a shiny, glowing complexion.

o And don't count coffee or any of the caffeinated soda as part of the 8 glasses because caffeine is dehydrating.
o You need to give some thought and consideration to the type of make-up you use. And be sure to clean your tools regularly. Things such as cosmetic brushes get dirty and can bacteria and germs and may cause skin irritations and breaking out.

ReplyDeleteKeep your skin clean. Do not scrub your face. The face does not need scrubbing. And, neither does your back. In fact, the more you scrub on it, the more acne you can get and more trauma to your skin.

5. Apply raw sliced potato on the face. Reduces blemishes and other scars.
6. Citrus face packs and sandalwood face packs are excellent for oily skin.

Use a light olive or coconut oil - both are excellent - and regularly massage with a quite strong, vigorous motion. It's the key to it working! Best to do at night as makes face flushed. Some skin clinics might tell you to massage gently - but it has proven to be only beneficial to many who have used it. Research my BEST ANSWERS. The massaging friction hastens a clear, new skin to emerge - see clearly noticeable results within a day or two and even better ones overtime depending on how vigorously you´ve been able to make it. Initially, skin has to adjust & if soreness, or reactions happen -stop & resume when you can. Find the pace that works for you - it's different for every person.
ReplyDeleteTry it, you will be happy that you did. You will not need to use ANY other products or treatments ever again.and as it's a natural moisturizer.you will not need any other one. Avoid OTC products - many contain countless harsh chemical ingredients that harm skin and are cause of unhealthy skin and many skin disorders and skin aging. As are many soaps, face cleaners. Also washing too frequently and too thoroughly harms skin.
drink lots of water and eat lots of rich colored veggies n fruits..
ReplyDeleteor and drink vitamins like vitamin E which is good 4 da skin
use a good face moisturizer and face wash..depending on ur skin oliliness >.<
use face masks once a week
Try a cucumber or egg white facial. These will clean your face, ease up freckles (if you have any), help prevent wrinkles, and also give your skin a whiter glowing look. If these don't work for you, there are also lotions and soaps you can by at a Macy's that are designed to make skin paler and whiter with each use.
ReplyDeleteIt's always best to go natural. Many skin products/cosmetics have been found to be skin harming(some have even caused acne) skin aging, and even health harming. You can verify with a Google search. Here's my secret to a flawless, healthy and glowing skin. Massaging with essential oils naturally benefit skin in countless ways. They feed skin essential beneficial nutrients. Oils are perfect, safe moisturizers - you will never need to use any moisturizing products. If you massage face thoroughly you will see the results even in one day. Don't be afraid of massage. If done right it is only beneficial as many users on Answers will testify.(see my B.A.'s) There is no pulling or stressing of skin as you have to tighten face muscles to tighten or flex skin in the part being massaged and in doing so it exercises and conditions many of face (and some neck) muscles whilst skin is being firmed, smoothed and conditioned by massage. Skin will tighten, start to glow and look and feel smoother. This is the best treatment to revitalize and even rejuvenate entire face. Focusing massage on any blemishes or spots will quickly heal and clear skin and prevent others from appearing. Also focusing on any fine lines and wrinkles,(again being careful to flex skin) will get them to diminish and prevent others from appearing. See clearly noticeable results in about week. Treatment has given me a healthy, vibrant, totally flawless skin for many years. Also see happy users comments in my B.A. Try it - you will be happy that you did.

ReplyDeleteSpecial diet can lead to a great skin texture. Look what you must eat to have a young, glowing skin. Fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines, tuna). Seafood, which contain large amounts of omega-3 essential fatty acids and omega-6 with anti-inflammatory effect. Fresh vegetables without starch, an excellent source of fiber and very low in fat, containing vitamins C and E, antioxidant and containing minerals such as calcium, iron, potassium and magnesium. Fat dairy products, especially yogurt with bifidus natural, which provides 40% of daily needs, helping bowel movements and thus the elimination of toxins from the body. Fruit and oil seed and oils extracted from them (olives, nuts, almonds, avocados, sunflower, pumpkin) containing minerals, vitamins (B and E ), but with a high caloric content, are rich in fat.
ReplyDeleteA balanced diet, a healthy sleep, regular physical exercise, stress free lifestyle, strict hygiene, strict discipline in lifestyle will help in increasing the clearness of your skin.
ReplyDeleteBaking soda and lemon juice helped me open my pores.
ReplyDeleteOr you could try crushed strawberries and lemon juice.
Using basic tape on your lips and skin can remove white heads/ black heads.
you can use a grapefruit face mask. it really works. it makes your skin feel minty when your putting it on. this means your pores are clearing up and breathing, so thats proof that it works. it takes 10 minutes for it to congeal to peel off though, so if you do not have that much time like me, and exfoliating face wash works. my friend gets the clear kind with green beads in it. i cant think of the name right now, but it also gives you that fresh minty feeling that clears out your pores.
ReplyDeleteTo help keep my skin clear, smooth and soft, I like to exfoliate regularly. Since I live in a small town without much choice for skin care regimens from expensive stores and such, I found my own recipe. All you need is some white granulated sugar, as well as some brown sugar (about 2-3 tablespoons each). After cleansing your face, apply the brown sugar and scrub for 1 minute. Rinse, and then scrub with the white sugar for an equal amount of time. Since the brown sugar has larger granules than the white sugar, it scrubs deep, then the white sugar polishes your skin and reveals your fresh, plump skin cells beneath and helps keep your skin free of toxins lying on the surface. This remedy also works for an all-over body treatment… results guaranteed!
ReplyDeleteDrink 8 cups of water a day at least! Don't have your hair in your face because your hair contains oil. Make sure your sheets are clean and sleeping on your back is the best way to sleep because your face won't touch the sheets! Shower after you did something and you sweated or wash your face with soap and warm water. Putting warm towels on your face helps open the pores and then you wash with cold water. And lastly you have to be healthy on the inside to look great on the outside so yes, don't eat sugar! Eat healthy foods, like vegatables and fruits!
ReplyDeleteThis will keep your skin looking great!!!
Avoid any kind of peel (ie chemical peel). Your skin won't have time to heal up and you'll end up with flaky skin for your wedding!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think the Burt's Bees products work practical miracles! You need to keep your face REALLY moisturized, so I'd reccommend getting two; a moisturizer specifically for the day (under your makeup) and one that's okay to sleep in. Moisturizer underneath your makeup helps create a barrier between your skin and makeup. Burt's Bees have products for both of these situations. You need a good cleanser to remove makeup. The cleanser is only on your face for a short period of time, so almost any cleanser will do. Personally I use the citrus cleanser from Burt's Bees. You'll also need a scrub to slough off the dead skin on your face. Of course, I reccommend a scrub from Burt's Bees as well. The Burt's Bees line is paraben free, chemical free and not tested on animals. It's a GREAT natural product! (And no, I don't work for them, I just love their stuff) They have body washes and soap bars, too.
You can use a toner after washing your face to make sure all of the dirt and makeup is gone, but these can be pretty harsh and dry your skin out. I personally only use them once in a blue moon (if I've fallen asleep with makeup on a couple nights in a row or something like that).
Drink LOTS of water. Water will help flush the harmful stuff out of your system.
Don't exercise with makeup on.
Omega 3s are supposed to be great for your skin, too. You can take a fish oil supplement pill (the cheap ones taste very gross!), eat some fish, or drink some cod liver oil. From what I hear, the citrus flavored one doesn't taste bad, but I'm too chicken to try.
Coffee and alcohol are bad for your skin, so I would avoid them for now if I were you.
1.Eat healthy avoid too much greasy foods and junk food chocolate etc...
ReplyDelete2. Have a diet rich in -whole grains -Fruits -Veggies -Lean Protein -Good Fats (avocados, olive oil, nuts etc)
3. Drink lots of water 8-10 glasses a day is what I strive for.
4. get into a cleansing regime
this is what I do:
Morning and night -
1. Splash my face with warm water to open up my pores
2. Cleanse with Neutragenia Stress Cream wash
3. Pat dry with a small towel don't rub!
4. Pat do not Rub Neutragenia Toner with a Cotton round all over my face and let dry
5. once toner is dry I apply just to the infected areas Neutragina Rapid Clear Acne Defense Lotion and let dry.
6. Once step 5 is dry I Apply Loreal Active Daily Moisture Lotion lightly under my eyes for dark circles with my ring finger (has less callus) and in areas I feel need the moisturizer Do not put it on the infected areas
This has been working great for me and I have extremely sensitive skin I'm always breaking out unless I take extremely good care of my face with this routine. Also if you wear make up always always wash it off before bed! Huge mistake for all women get that crap off it clogs your pores and you wake up looking worse than you would wearing it!
Don't rub!
Don't Pop pimples
Don't Pick
just keep your face clean..exfoliate your face..change your eating habits and see if that helps

Self confidence is pretty, beautiful, sexy, etc.
ReplyDeleteYou should do it everyday.The Four Steps to Sensational Skin;
ReplyDeleteStep 1: Cleanse
Washing your face twice a day, with a gentle cleansing formula and warm water, banishes dirt, makeup, build-up and oil. But all cleansers are not created equal. The best formula is one that is suited specifically to your skin, designed to gently remove debris, without stripping away vital moisture. After cleansing, your face should feel fresh, not tight!
Step 2: Tone
Immediately after cleansing, tone your skin to help restore healthy balance. A soothing toning formula will remove any remaining traces of dirt, makeup or cleanser, hydrate, and return your skin to its natural pH level. Depending on your skin type, toners should be free of oil or alcohol. Look for natural ingredients like coneflower, chamomile or bitter orange peel that will treat your complexion gently and naturally.
Step 3: Treat
Now it's time to zero in on your skin's special needs. In this repair phase, you'll address fine lines, sun damage, discolouration, blemishes or uneven skin tone. Brighten, soothe, smooth, refine.
Step 4: Moisturise/Protect
Your body requires water to thrive, and your skin is no exception. Complete your twice-daily routine with an infusion of refreshing moisture. The right formula will plump up thirsty cells, making skin glow with radiance. It will also form an invisible barrier, preventing vital moisture from escaping and keeping damaging environmental stressors from penetrating. Day and night
wash your face two times a day
ReplyDeletei would recommend the neutrogina graprefruit scrub for every other day
