One is always surrounded by myths which are imbibed into one from childhood and sometimes through various channels. One such myth that we have grown up with is that people who wear glasses are usually introverts or nerds or have particular personality characteristics. However, latest Australian research into myopia or shortsightedness has revealed that people who wear glasses are not stereotypical geeks or nerds; they are more likely to be agreeable and open, rather than closed and introverted.
