Top 3 Beauty Trends for Fall

Top Fall Beauty TrendsThe weather may be getting colder, but the fall beauty trends are sizzling hot. As I mentioned before, London Fashion Week 2009 runways were awash with shades of grey. So where are we supposed to get our edginess this season?

The Pixie Haircut

Short haircuts are usually synonymous with breezy, summer days. And they also served a practical purpose as well since, historically, long heavy frocks were shed during the warmer seasons. But celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and Rihanna were showing edgy new dos that prove that short hair is back in!

Matte Nail Polish

It’s such a strange concept, but matte nail polish is definitely in this fall as the must have beauty item. Matte nail polish is exactly as it sounds—nail polish color without the quintessential glossy sheen. The result is a deeper, richer color with a velvety finish. Some great shades for this fall are matte black nail polish, matte indigo nail polish and matte grey nail polish. The OPI matte nail polish collection features a wide range of autumn appropriate colors with fun names like Russian Navy and You Don’t Know Jacques.

Golden Eyes

An easy way to add a pop of color to your otherwise drab fall attire is to lightly swipe your lids with a sparkly, metallic eyeshadow. We’ve been seeing a lot of neutral and grey lids, but color lovers will never be satisfied with a monotone palette. Try a gold eyeshadow like the Estee Lauder Signature Eyeshadow Quad in Gold, Nars Duo Cream Eyeshadow in sheer platinum and sheer gold or Cargo’s Mediterranean Nights Palette. Make your eyes pop this fall!

    1. Never wear a trend that is already out in all the department stores---BE THE FIRST

    2. Know what looks best on you and stick to it---try the book by the British "what not to wear" girls that bases clothes on body type

    3. Dont look at size tags, try on a variety of sizes at different stores to find what looks best, not the smallest number

Aspirin for acne-prone skin

Aspirin has been around for a long time and its health benefits are wide and varied. Aspirin , or acetylsalicylic acid is a salicylate drug, often used as an analgesic to relieve minor aches and pains , as an antipyretic to reduce fever , and as an anti-inflammatory medication. Aspirin's greatest benefit is reducing cardiovascular events including heart attacks and strokes. According to the American Heart Assoc. virtually all women are at risk of heart disease and doctors should more strongly consider prescribing a daily aspirin for their female patients. There is growing evidence to suggest regular aspirin use may reduce cancer and dementia as well. Investigators from the Women's Health Study have reported important new findings demonstrating that aspirin reduces the risk of a first stroke in women. Home remedies for sleeplessness

The day dawns beautifully for those who have had a night of good sleep. But the same day drags on for those who have spent a disturbing, sleepless night. Sleep is a biological necessity even as eating and drinking are. Sufficient sleep renders a person normally sociable, lively and high-spirited. It’s a nature’s way of rejuvenating the person for the next day. Realize all this, and make sleep a physiological habit. The consequences of long time sleep deprivation can be very grave. Lack of sleep takes its toll on the skin and hair. It causes acne-breakouts and makes one look aged and haggard beyond years. Experts opine that during sleep as our metabolic rate falls, blood goes to those areas which need the most repairing. This also steps up the production of collagen and keratin, which aid the regeneration of skin cells and help resist premature ageing. So for a younger looking and a problem free skin you need to have a good quality of sleep every night.

A delay of 4-5 days may be fine but if it exceeds 8 days, then it's certainly a cause for concern. In this post, I'll be sharing highly effective Indian home remedies for your delayed periods . I'd been a long sufferer of irregular periods during my teenage to early twenties.
