Here Los Angeles based celebrity hairstylist Jamal Hammadi, one of the seven cutting edge global hair experts chosen by Sunsilk to co-create its "Stunning Black Shine" hair care range suggests ways to keep hair healthy, shiny and black.
* Natural products like amla and avocado oil are extremely beneficial for the growth of healthy hair.
* Moisture is something that should be stressed upon a lot. To have bouncy, thick and shiny hair even after colouring it, one needs to nourish it with regular use of hair moisturizer. A moisturizer with shea butter is great for hair.
* A well-balanced diet, especially including fish, as fish oil is very good for hair, is also important.
* Hair tends to lose moisture if shampooed everyday. Shampooing hair thrice a week is enough. Attention should also be paid to the hair ends. Those with dry hair ends needn't shampoo hair everyday.
* Hair should be trimmed periodically to keep it healthy.
* And make sure you do not over-color it as colouring often robs hair of its natural shine and texture.
* Ironing hair is a much better option than rebonding which could weaken hair because of the use of chemicals in the rebonding process.

If you dont want your hair to get greasy, then wash your hair everday and make sure to use the right shampoo, conditioner, oil, and anti-frizz creme! Those are all the hair products I use and i always get compliments on my hair! If you follow my tips, you will get as many compliments too!
ReplyDeleteStay fresh and clean**
I had my hair to my waist for a long time! Definitely get a trim before you start growing your hair so you start out with nice healthy ends. Then continue to get a trim about every 3 months or so to keep it healthy. I don't know if you dye your hair or anything like that but i know when mine was long it was very hard to brush, so make sure you apply a leave in conditioner(especially if you dye it a lot) after you wash your hair before you comb it...also carefully comb your hair when its wet instead of using a brush because a brush will rip your hair...um well that's all i can think of..wow that was long. good luck!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good diet. Try to take multivitamins. cutting 1 cm every 2-3 months once is good. But I can also suggest some very good products. Theres a brand named Klorane which has lots of hair products. Try to use Quinine shampoo and balm. It helps your hair to grow faster.
ReplyDeleteHealthy hair is grown from inside out. What are the best foods for hair?

ReplyDeleteeggs and other foods high in protien promote strong hair. taking prenates (if you're a woman) can help give healty, strong hair and nails. the extra vitamins and minerals really help!.WATER! water is excellent for cleansing toxins out of your body. when you have toxins its harder for nutrients to get to your hair skin & nails. so more water= clearer skin, healthier hair, and stronger nails.

Eat high-quality protein foods. Eggs are a good source as long as you don't have cholesterol problems.

Use hot oil treatments every other week and don't wash your hair everyday then you will be washing away the natural oils in your hair. Speaking of oils use oils like jojoba oil, olive oil, and many others and massage them on your scalp. But be careful and test the oil on a your skin before putting it on your scalp. If it turns red and starts irritating you do not use it.

Tips for growing out hair?
ReplyDeleteYou get all your vitamins & minerals & proteins FREE from the good foods you eat from Mother Nature, not made by man, and no shampoo can help grow hair, not even those made for horses. Horses don't abuse their hair, using heating tools, and they eat better than people, but it won't add more hair & make their hair longer faster.Shampoo intended for animals may contain insecticides or other medications for treatment of skin conditions or parasite infestations such as fleas or mange. These must never be used on humans.
ReplyDeletePrenatal vitamins don't make your hair grow. Pregnant women have to start taking care of their bodies when they're pregnant, meaning stop smoking, drinking, dyeing or perming their hair SO OF COURSE their hair start growing again. But it has nothing to do with their hair, it has something to do to help the development of their unborn child.
Fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains all supply B-complex vitamins, like biotin, folic acid and vitamin B12, as well as vitamin A, copper and zinc, which are all necessary for remedying dry, brittle hair and nourishing a healthy scalp.
