What causes Eyelid Twitching?

All of us have experienced eyelid twitching from time to time. For women, if the left eyelid twitches continuously for more than 3 times, it's supposed to be a good omen whereas right eyelid twitching is a bad omen. For men, it's vice versa. But what if both the eyelids start twitching simultaneously? Fortunately or unfortunately nobody knows for sure what this omen indicates! Superstitious notions aside, let's find out what causes the eyelids to twitch sometimes.

Fix a Botched Self Tan and avoid these Self-tanners

If your fake tan with a self tanner has turned out less than perfect, getting rid of it altogether with a self-tan remover or other methods might seem like a good idea.  However Dr Schultz has a better suggestion. He doesn't quite advocate the use of physical exfoliants such as scrubs or  microdermabrasion to rectify it as they are more difficult to use evenly. He says that whether your tan has become streaky, uneven or just too dark, daily exfoliation with a chemical exfoliant (glycolic is best) will do the trick. And if you are already using a chemical exfoliant regularly, he suggests that for a few days you should consider using it twice a day or using a stronger strength formula once daily. However, a better option is to get it fixed at the doctor's office.

Remedy for itchy, irritated & burning underarms

Underarm skin isn't all that tough; it can get raw, itchy and irritated sometimes.  The position of the armpits on the body is such that this part is often subjected to excessive sweating and humidity.  Fungi or yeast prefer moist and warm places in and on our body, and an armpit area, that sweats excessively provides the perfect breeding ground for these nasty organisms.  Yeast or Candida infections usually  start with a naturally occurring fungus in the  body. When the natural balance of bacteria, candida albicans and others in our body, get disturbed, candida numbers surge and a candida infection is under way.  Typical symptoms of candida albican infection -- swollen tissue, an itchy feeling and redness in the affected area and this requires medical intervention.               Troubled by irritated, itchy underarms?

Style Tips:Avoid too many accessories

Nail Polish- culprit for irritated eyelids

It's quite commonplace to put the blame on your eye makeup when you end up with irritated, swollen, and itchy eyelids, while the real culprit could be the least suspected one, a nail polish .     While it's true that cosmetics for the eyes can cause irritation, even if a person has used the same product for a long time, irritated eyelids and  rash can also happen when you accidentally touch your eyelids with stained or unsanitized fingers.    The skin on your hands is quite tough and can endure the harshest of chemicals, but not so in the case of eyelid skin.    Even a tiny speck of an irritant can bother the delicate  skin on the eyelids, be it your eyedrops, your contact lens solution, tiny droplets of hair spray, hair dye, shampoo, conditioner or a tiny speck of wet nail polish.

Pears Oil Clear Face Wash:Review

I've used both Pears Original Transparent soap and Pears Oil Control Soaps . While Pears Original Transparent soap with glycerine is specially for those with dry to normal skin, I have found it great for winters. On the other hand, Pears Oil control Soap is specially formulated for oily skins and does its job exceedingly well, not to mention the sweet lingering fragrance that it leaves behind. So when I happened to spot Pears Oil Clear Cleansing Face Wash with lemon flower extracts at a shopping mall, I knew I had to buy it.
