Heidi Klum is totally averse to yo-yo dieting and isn't exactly impressed by people who are aiming to be reed-thin.
She believes that plump cheeks and a fuller face, make a person look much younger than a skinny person whose face looks gaunt with tight and angular features.
In her own words, "My tip is, don't be too thin! It is always better to have a little meat on your bones. When you are just muscle, you end up being gaunt on the face and that makes you look older by five or 10 years."
And she's so right! Research suggests that fat is quite likely to play a major role in keeping your face looking youthful. It's not just gravity that's responsible for sagging skin, jowls and naso-labial folds.
Research conducted by Drs Rohrich and Pessa, suggests that it is the different rates at which the fat pockets on your face change their shape and size that leads to loss of volume in the underlying area, causing hollows and sagging.
Dr Rajiv Grover from Grover from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons also reaffirms that it's not just the plain old wrinkles that make people look older, but the changes in the shape of the face that occur when one loses weight excessively, especially due to unhealthy dieting.
Now coming back to the topic of Heidi Klum! Klum says that she isn't too scared of ageing and wrinkles. All of 37 and mother to 4 children, Klum, who's still in a gorgeous shape, says that she abhors Botox and Botox addicts ,and believes in aging gracefully like some of these celebrities instead of resorting to drastic methods to delay the ageing process.
