Lesser known model , Krrishika Gupta whose only claim to fame might be her controversial lesbian shoot with Neetu chandra for "The Man" magazine, but nobody can deny the fact that she has a fit and well-toned body, glowing skin and gorgeous mane.

Surprisingly, she too like Monikangana Dutta, relies more on kitchen cupboard remedies to enhance her beauty. She uses mashed papaya, banana, tomato or cabbage as face packs. She says that these fruit/ vegetable based masks keep her skin glowing and blemish-free. Another ingredient that works wonders for her skin is egg-white. Whenever she gets the time, she loves to smear egg white all over her face . "I love the tightening effect that egg-white gives to my face and my skin looks so bright and exfoliated after washing and it hardly takes more than 7-8 minutes", she says. "I don't have much of dark circles per se, but to nourish and lighten the delicate skin underneath my eyes, I apply a cucumber and potato juice combo", she maintains. "Also I try to remain make-up free as far as possible except while I'm shooting. I usually don't have a problem with my hair. But during winter months, they tend to become slightly dry and brittle. So I always do a hot oil scalp massage with extra virgin olive oil at home followed by a good protein hair pack. But nothing beats the luxurious experience of a head massage at a spa", she adds.
As regards to her perfect figure and well-toned body, she attributes it all to yoga. "If you are into yoga, you need not slave for hours together at the gym. I am so proud of my flat middle. I must say that in addition to my ab workouts, breathing exercises such as Anulom-Vilom and Kapalabhati have contributed a lot. Besides this, I am fond of sports, especially adventure sports - I've done it all - trekking, hiking, biking, playing badminton, hockey, volley ball etc. I think all these activities have helped me get a good bod."

You may use Aloe Vera gel mixed with besan (chana flour)
ReplyDeleteapply before taking bath. You can see result within two weeks.
Here's some of my recipes for homemade masks:
ReplyDelete1. Mash 1/2 cucumber, 2 strawberries, 1 tsp honey and 1 tbsp yogurt in a food processor. Apply to face and allow to dry. Wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
2. 1 beaten egg white combined with 2 tsp lemon juice will make your pores look really tiny!
3. Mix 2 tablespoons honey with 2 teaspoons milk. Smooth over face and throat. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
4. Grate an apple finely and then add about 4 tablespoons of honey. Mix it well apply it to your face wait 10 minutes and rinse.
5. Combine equal parts baking soda and water in your hand and rub gently on your skin for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
6. Mash up a very ripe banana. Add just enough honey to make a soft pulp. Apply over face and hair.
7. 1 egg
Juice of one lemon
4 tbsp cup non-fat dry milk powder
1 tbsp witch hazel
Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix well. Alternatively, you can blend them together by using a fork or a wire whisk. Apply the mixture to your face, neck and chest and allow it to dry for around 15 minutes. Use the remaining cream as a cleanser to remove the mask. Then, rinse your face thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.
8. Take a chopped tomato, 1 tbsp of instant oatmeal, 1 tbsp lemon juice. Blend all ingredients just until combined. Apply to skin, making sure the mixture is thick enough to stay on blemished areas. Add a bit more oatmeal to thicken the mask. Leave on 10 mins. Wash with warm water.
warm a cup of milk. add juice of 1 lemon. massage.

ReplyDeleteYOGA FOR SOUND HEALTH AND SOUND BODY
ReplyDeleteThere may be different approaches with in yoga also for this purpose. I would suggest Sun Salutations. I have tried it for 30 day and over all results are very good. Try it. See the difference.
ReplyDeleteThere are many benefits to doing yoga! It can increase flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, help with breathing, relieve stress, induce calm, and help create a deeper connection with your body and the world around you
ReplyDeleteyoga obviously improves your flexibility (which makes you less prone to injury and minor daily muscle damage). It also has been shown to improve circulation (which can prevent health problems later in life). On top of that, yoga is an incredible stress reliever. Stress is a physiological response that can lead to poor health if you have continuous stress over a long period of time. Humans withstand a ridiculous amount of stress. Stress effects your heart rate, your blood pressure, your digestion, and anything else effected by the vagus nerve. Reducing stress can improve digestion, reduce your heart rate and blood pressure, and even improve lung and liver function
ReplyDeleteWhile yoga can be purely practiced on it's own, yoga is a great compliment to other physical activities and sports. Many athletes find yoga beneficial for both mental and physical reasons. Physically, yoga can help increase strength, flexibility, balance, while stretching your muscles. It's great to do post workout/ training to relax the muscles and 'cool down'. Activities like running for example will shorten your muscles, practicing yoga will lengthen them.
ReplyDeleteMentally, yoga can help you relax but also refocus your thoughts as it helps to quieten the mind.
I'd suggest practicing it after each strenuous workout session. Start with a shorter practice of 30 minutes and play with it, seeing if longer or shorter works. Particularly yin yoga is great for very deep stretching. It's perfect after a very tiring or stressful day. If your workout schedule has 'relax' days, you could always do a yoga practice then as well for a normally length practice of 45mins- 1 hour or so.Definitely give it a try and see what works for you
What does hot yoga do for your health?
ReplyDeleteIt stabilizes nervous system, regulates blood flow and digestive system, rids your body of toxins, weight loss, flexibility, strength........happiness :)
ReplyDeleteyoga mainly helps enable you to stretch more and hold yoru poses for longer. Muscles are more relaxed in a hotter environment. Some also claim that the sweating helps to purge toxins from your system.
ReplyDeleteIf you do go ahead with hot yoga, make sure not to press yourself too hard the first few times, and do have plenty of water with you, with some lemon squeezed into it and/or a few grains of salt to help you with absorption
Yoga not only strengthens and tones the body, but also elongates it. This gives you a leaner AND taller figure. I started off with Kathy Smith and Denise Austin's yoga DVDs, as I found them to be very descriptive and moderately-paced for beginners.
ReplyDeleteYoga is so good for your body i took a yoga class with my mom and it teaches you how to relax and good ways to breath it will deffinatly help your health!
ReplyDeleteYOGA is very good for our health. It supports to concentrate our mind & in any beauty problems. It cures many diseases which r related with HEART, LUNGS, LIVER & SKIN.
ReplyDeleteFor DIY skin care, I mix:2 tablespoons honey
ReplyDelete4 teaspoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed or bottled)
3 teaspoons plain or Greek yogurt
1 egg white
leave it for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. This is good in making pimple marks disappear.
For the hair, you can put ripped avocado, olive oil or eggs. I pick one and rotate every saturday and everyone thinks I have gorgeous hair. I leave it in for about 20 minutes and then I wash.
ReplyDeleteSince I have dark knees, when I'm in the shower I take a pumice stone and scrub at my knees, then when I get out I put cocoa butter lotion on them.
ReplyDeleteApply honey to your face, and wash off after about 20 minutes for glowing skin.
Do lots of exercise to pump up blood circulation and get a better complexion.
Use lemon juice to lighten skin and remove tan.
Here are some of mine:
ReplyDelete-I have very pigmented skin, so even if I don't pick at a pimple, it leaves a scar. So when the pimple is starting to go away, I start rubbing vitamin E oil on it, twice a day. It helps to reduce the mark afterward.
-I put full fat mayo in my hair once a week for about half an hour. It's a great moisterizer.
-I exfoliate my lips 1-2 times a week with sugar. After they're dry I put vaseline. They're sooo smooth and soft. Seriously look amazing.
Baking soda as shampoo makes a your hair really soft :)
ReplyDeleteJust add about 1 tbs of baking soda to a large glass and fill to the brim with water. Stir so their are no cloudy parts or lumps. Then use as a normal shampoo, wet hair first then rinse with baking soda and water, then rinse again thoroughly. You don't need to use normal shampoo or conditioner. Do this about once or at most twice a week.
This gets rid of product build up, eliminates dandruff and makes your hair so soft. Honestly it's really nice. :)
How about cucumber slices for the eyes and plain yogurt mixed with chickpea flour for the face.
ReplyDeleteAbout 4 tbsp of yogurt to 2 tsp of chickpea flour.
Or if you have an aloe Vera plant. Slice open the fatest leaf, and scoop out the colorless jelly in it. Then squash it and apply it to face.
well, using a comination of dry milk and a little bit of water to make a cream to put on your face with help make it soft and it's just like anything you would use against blemishes.
ReplyDeletegreat tips…what’s more cool is that all the ingredients or things required are easily available in the kitchen………..thanks a lot!!!! :-))
ReplyDeleteThe practice of yoga can help you achieve slim-down success by burning calories, toning muscles, improving your sleep, and helping you de-stress. Get ready to say "Om."
