Unblock your pores
Dirt and grime can block your pores, so it’s important to exfoliate on a weekly basis. You can do this by squeezing a quality exfoliating cream onto a pair of abrasive gloves and massaging it into your body. Start scrubbing your feet in small circles before working your way up to your face – being careful not to irritate broken skin. Repeat this process regularly and you should see a big difference in no time. If your skin is in need of some extra TLC, why not book a chemical peel and enjoy a soft complexion? This non-surgical procedure will improve the tone and texture of your face and will help you to feel fresh throughout the summer months.

Moisturise
Rehydrate your skin by applying a luxurious body cream after a bath or shower. Massage the moisturiser in thoroughly and give it time to soak in before getting dressed – as this will stop the product from rubbing off. There are many different cosmetics out there, but it’s essential to buy one that suits your complexion. If you’ve got sensitive skin, opt for natural products and if you’re skin’s oily, choose something that absorbs easily. Look for creams suitable for dry patches and check out the anti-ageing range in your favourite beauty store.

Do not over wash
If you’ve got acne, try to wash your face once in the morning and once at night. Avoid touching your pimples during the day, as this could spread bacteria and use a mild soap or cleanser. Wash away any bubbles with lukewarm water and dry using a clean towel – to avoid reinfection. Never share flannels with anyone else and avoid products with harsh chemicals as these can irritate your complexion. If your skin problem’s really bad speak to your doctor or book an appointment with a dermatologist.

Make a homemade facemask
Believe it or not, you can create a homemade facemask that will freshen up your skin. Simply mash up a handful of ripe strawberries and mix them with sour cream before applying the mixture to your face. Put your feet up for twenty minutes (at least) before washing the concoction off with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry and apply a moisturiser while admiring your soft complexion. The salicylic acid found in strawberries is thought to reduce acne and the yoghurt has a lovely cooling effect – so what you waiting for?

Laser hair removal
If you want smooth skin without having to wax, shave or pluck, why not book a course of laser hair removal? This innovative treatment kills hairs in the active growth phase of the hair cycle and prevents them from growing back. The best candidate for laser hair removal will have black hair and pale skin, but new treatments are continually developing. Check out your nearest clinic and say goodbye to unwanted stubble for good.

A radiant complexion can improve your confidence, so start beautifying today.

coconut water can also be used as a natural moisturiser. It helps in reducing the oil and greasiness of the skin. It is highly recommended for people with oily skin
