Nevertheless, if you act on it quickly then you can utilise natural products in order to aid hair re-growth rather than having to go down the surgical route. After all, there are several different methods and products available which can prevent any further hair loss and ensure that a steady re-growth of hair takes place.

hair loss
It is recommended that you seek natural hair re-growth treatment as soon as you notice any hair loss occurring. After all, a lot of people do not think that it affects them on a personal level and thus they do not mind that they are losing a little bit of hair. Nevertheless as this continues, it can be quite easy to feel self conscious and thus you do not want to leave it too late when surgery is the only way to gain an effective solution.

Once you have decided that hair re-growth treatment is the thing for you, you will then need to find a reputable company who can provide you information on which products to use. There are a whole host of different shampoos, tablets, cleansers, conditioners and more to choose from. Therefore it is recommended that you seek professional advice because you will be able to seek products which are tailor made to suit you. After all, it is important to note that hair loss is different for each person who experiences it and so you need your own personal solution.

To give further insight into the natural treatments at your disposal let’s delve a little bit deeper into some of the most popular options. Minoxidil is a highly popular lotion which is applied once a day. It needs to be left on the scalp for a substantial length of time, a minimum of six hours, and so it is recommended that you apply it before bedtime. This is a treatment which needs to be used indefinitely if you want to see thorough results.

A lot of people prefer easier methods such as taking tablets, such as DHT Blockers. These tablets are most suited for preventing hair loss and in most cases the hair lost prior to taking the tablets which actually grow back. So how do DHT Blockers work? First and foremost it is important to know that DHT is a shortcut for “dihydrotestosterone”, which is a natural hormone attributed to baldness. The tablets stop the hormone from being created by blocking the enzyme from developing.

In addition to the two popular non-surgical hair re-growth treatments mentioned, you can also find shampoos and conditioners which can be applied several times a week. Moreover, there are several scalp cleaners which you massage into your head in order to gain the desired effects. All in all, there is a vast range of non-surgical options available and thus you need not seek surgery in order to combat your hair loss problem.

hair growth comes from within the skin, so trimming it or using shampoos won't really make the hair follicle itself grow faster. Hair is basically protein, so I think any supplement that focuses on that should be good. I'll tell ya this, though: when I went on a high-protein diet and really focused on eating well

Take a multivitamin everyday to give your body nutrients. A healthy body will grow hair quicker and stronger. Wash your hair less and this will prevent excess breakage and weakness. Gelatin is know to help hair and nair growth as well. Good luck!

Lemon as a beauty aid

The diminutive lemon is a very versatile beauty-aid and this cheap and golden-coloured fruit has excellent properties for enhancing your looks. Simple lemon-based preparations, you can mix in your own kitchen, will surely bring a dramatic transformation in your beauty regimen.

Aloevera, the wonder herb

Of all the herbs available in the kitchen garden, aloe is perhaps the richest in healing properties and has been rightly named the “first-aid” plant. It has moisturizing and emollient properties and is used in cosmetic creams, sun-lotions, shaving creams and face packs. It can easily be cultivated as a house-plant in a sunny warm spot with good drainage. Cosmetologists mix aloe with several other herbs and draft fancy names for it. Then these “herbal” avatars are sold at exorbitant prices. Growing a plant and using fresh gel is much more effective than bottled gel, simply because it is alive and therefore is more potent. It is the only plant whose extract is applied directly from plant to face in its natural and purest form.

I Tried a Headache Balm and Ended Up with Rashes

I do have this habit of slathering pain balms whenever I have a headache. But never did I get a skin reaction or rashes from it. It so happened that I had an extremely severe headache a few months ago.  The pain was so unbearable that I gingerly reached out for a pain balm kept on my bedside table and kept on slathering it repeatedly all over the temples of my forehead. Next morning, after I woke up, I found that the skin on my forehead was peeling off and worse there were red rashes!  This was the first time in my life that I was getting rashes from applying a pain balm on my forehead !  I have never had any pain balm allergy or as such!  Side-effects due to application of a pain balm  was something I've never come across all these years! I usually use pain balms of reputed companies – my usual favourites are Tiger balm, Amrutanjan, Zandu balm and Sloan’s balm.  This time I had used Tiger balm. But why did it  give me rashes now, when I had used it...
