Six Grooming Tips Women Find Irresistible

Let's face it guys, today's women are just as much into a man's physical appearance as we are into theirs! Fortunately, there is no shortage of helpful tips, grooming accessories, and clothing options to help even the shabbiest of men improve their appearance.

Let's take a look at some of the most significant grooming techniques any man can use to impress the ladies.

Facial Hair

We all know that men naturally tend to have more body hair than women. But that doesn't mean you should go out looking like you have never seen a razor. How you maintain your facial hair will be one of the first grooming related judgments she will make about you.

Generally speaking, today's modern woman expects her man to be clean shaven, or at least sport a well-trimmed mustache or goatee. A light beard may be OK for some women, but don't expect most women to swoon over it. Even if you do sport facial hair, be sure to keep it neatly trimmed.

Hair Growing from Nose and Ears

And while we are discussing facial hair, go ahead and trim any nose or ear hair that may be sticking out of place. You can find electric shavers designed for just such an occasion. Hair growing out of the nose is not a good look on anyone, but often gets overlooked during regular grooming.

Shampoo and Conditioner

It goes without saying that if you have product buildup or dandruff in your hair, you need to take care of it. If you notice your hair is still greasy looking or your scalp is flaking, talk to a hairdresser about finding products that work better for your specific hair type.

Go Easy on the Cologne

Everyone has a different preference when it comes to the ideal scent on the opposite gender. Others are even allergic to certain odors. The general rule is that a woman should only be able to smell the cologne if she is coming in close enough to embrace you.

Fashionable Clothing

You have a lot of options when it comes to selecting superior attire. Check out the latest designs for in-season clothing online and shop for a good fit at your local clothing store.

Getting a modern jean jacket or blazer are great ways of sprucing up your wardrobe without replacing all your clothes. If you need inspiration for popular men's clothing, Jack & Jones are now back on top of their game, check out their latest designs.

Footwear

What you put on your feet speak volumes about who you are when making a first impression. If you just wear socks and sandals when you go out, chances are she thinks laziness is your strong suit. Black dress shoes or desert boots are a safe bet when trying to make an impression.

Don't forget what goes under the shoe as well. If you are going to someone's home, you may be asked to remove your shoes. So make sure you wear clean socks that don't have any holes or snags.

As you can see, with a little effort, even the most out-of-date man can be upgraded to a suave gentleman! All it takes is a little big of extra effort and you'll be dressing to impress.

Lemon as a beauty aid

The diminutive lemon is a very versatile beauty-aid and this cheap and golden-coloured fruit has excellent properties for enhancing your looks. Simple lemon-based preparations, you can mix in your own kitchen, will surely bring a dramatic transformation in your beauty regimen.

Aloevera, the wonder herb

Of all the herbs available in the kitchen garden, aloe is perhaps the richest in healing properties and has been rightly named the “first-aid” plant. It has moisturizing and emollient properties and is used in cosmetic creams, sun-lotions, shaving creams and face packs. It can easily be cultivated as a house-plant in a sunny warm spot with good drainage. Cosmetologists mix aloe with several other herbs and draft fancy names for it. Then these “herbal” avatars are sold at exorbitant prices. Growing a plant and using fresh gel is much more effective than bottled gel, simply because it is alive and therefore is more potent. It is the only plant whose extract is applied directly from plant to face in its natural and purest form.

I Tried a Headache Balm and Ended Up with Rashes

I do have this habit of slathering pain balms whenever I have a headache. But never did I get a skin reaction or rashes from it. It so happened that I had an extremely severe headache a few months ago.  The pain was so unbearable that I gingerly reached out for a pain balm kept on my bedside table and kept on slathering it repeatedly all over the temples of my forehead. Next morning, after I woke up, I found that the skin on my forehead was peeling off and worse there were red rashes!  This was the first time in my life that I was getting rashes from applying a pain balm on my forehead !  I have never had any pain balm allergy or as such!  Side-effects due to application of a pain balm  was something I've never come across all these years! I usually use pain balms of reputed companies – my usual favourites are Tiger balm, Amrutanjan, Zandu balm and Sloan’s balm.  This time I had used Tiger balm. But why did it  give me rashes now, when I had used it...
