Home Remedies To Quit Drinking Alcohol

I don't have any first hand experience with alcoholics or alcoholism. Luckily for me, all of my family members and near relatives are teetotalers but I've seen many families ruined due to alcohol abuse of either of the spouses /parents/ siblings.

Most alcoholics believe that they are moderate drinkers and that they  have the control over their habit but this is far from truth. Alcohol can take over you so slyly that you will not be aware that you have already become addicted to it.

The good news is that you can help and kick the habit but it needs tremendous will-power and patience from your side. Places such as Alcoholics Anonymous can also help you in your endeavour. You can also try some of the natural remedies which will help you in your rehabilitation.

A simple trick to beat alcohol addiction

One effective method suggested by a naturopath that will help in kicking alcohol addiction is this:
Add eight parts of purified water (RO purified or boiled and cooled) to one part of alcohol and drink it in gulps without sipping. Drink two more glasses of water after that.

You'll most probably vomit after that, which is wonderful. This will mostly be the last time you would have touched an alcoholic drink. After that take a long cold water shower for full five minutes. This hopefully should work!

2 Effective home remedies to stop drinking alcohol

Below are a few simple and effective home remedies, suggested by a folk medicine practitioner on Television. Taking these potions will surely help you get over alcoholism.
